I apologize for never being on time with my posts! This is two months late, but nonetheless here's what we did for Nicole's birthday this year!
So the plan was: We told her that we didn't have time to have dinner together as four. Kim would have dinner with her on her actual birthday, and Xian and I will have dinner with her another day. She bought it! She had training that day, so we cooked up a somewhat elaborate picnic and with the help of Helen, we surprised her at a random grass patch in school! Lugging all that food to school was no mean feat! Our egg mayo sandwiches were bomb diggidy because it was overladen with mayo. We used the excess egg mayo as a dipping sauce for our chicken nuggets. Sounds gross but tastes great!
