Today, bored Charlene makes a discovery! I've always had Adobe Lightroom on my MacBook, but I have never dabbled much into that because I've been using Adobe Photoshop for years and I have gotten so used to it. But boy oh boy, little did I know there was a whole new world out there.
I watched some video tutorials on how to import and organize my pictures on Lightroom and girl, I was on my way! All the sliders to control exposure, colour balance and many more, are on the workspace itself. There was no need for additional pop-up windows to adjust, then having to close those windows and blah blah blah. Try repeating this till 1000 images later, your eyeballs have shrivelled up and there's smoke coming out of your ears. Lightroom makes my life so much easier when I have to edit bulks of photos at one go, especially for blog posts where there's easily a hundred images per post.
Also!!! I learnt how to use VSCO Films on my images. It mimics the result you would get from a film camera and gives the photo a vintage faded grungy feel. Below are a few pictures I took in Hokkaido, which I have used as experiments in Lightroom with my new VSCO Film presets...
Can't wait for France/Spain in September, so I'll have more photos to use these presets on :)
