My 18th Birthday

I had a pretty good start to my birthday :)

Had a good early birthday dinner at Din Tai Fung the night before with my babz… Then when I got home I was just stoning in my room when suddenly, my door creaked open… and a wild Boobie appeared!!! Thankfully, she didn't shock me like she did last year. So I was counting down and distracting her while she tried to type my birthday message on time (very sincere this one, last minute still typing HAHA).

As usual, she was hungry again, so we went into the kitchen to find food. Then Elisha called me and said "Eh open the door!" and I was like "?!?!?!?!?!" I opened the door expecting only Eli to be there but boy did I get a shock! The whole of Flower Power + Jianhong (grass) was standing outside my door with a cake. So they sang Happy Birthday, I made a wish, blew out the candles… and I invited them in.

We all sat down to talk and laugh and eat cake till it was 1+ am… I feel bad that they all had to cab home because there wasn't anymore buses at that time :( Boobie stayed a while longer and we watched PLL together while she let out a million f***s!!!

Fast >>> forward >>> to >>> lunch time!!! Had lunch with Jez, Eli and Tzehui at Yomenya Goemon hehehehe!!! I was sad Ashley couldn't come but oh well… :( I had my squid ink pasta again which made my braces really black. I had to gargle my mouth multiple times and pick bits of black shit out. It doesn't taste as gross as it sounds though, in fact it's one of my favourite pastas!!!

Fast >>> forward >>> to >>> dinner time!!! I had dinner with my family at The Coastal Settlement. Before going, I read mixed reviews online about the food there. If you know me… I could do with some good ambience but most of the time I'm quality > ambience, so I was iffy about dinner. But I was proved wrong! We ordered the right food and dinner turned out fantastic!

The truffle fries + truffle mayo (ikr, when I first heard it I was like SHUT… UP…)

I am thankful for the wishes, presents, surprises and everyone who made my 18th birthday a wonderful one. When I thought it was going to be miserable, thank you for proving me wrong :)
