a sleepless hurricane

So... I see that I haven't posted in a week.

I just got back from Penang yesterday. It was a good trip, especially with bestie around! We caught Paranorman in theatres, went for a facial (super girly business, I know), watched movies in bed (I end up falling asleep in the middle of every one), did a bit of sightseeing on the last day and most importantly, eat and eat and eat and eat and eat. I'm still a bit bummed though, that our plans to tan failed thrice.

This will be my last trip to Penang for a long while, or maybe ever. I will really really miss the food there :'(


On to other happenings... I worked at COMEX for ASUS. I was smacking houseflies on day one, I didn't sell a single notebook. Well, it was just my first day, my mom told me not to be disheartened and also to snip my fringe off to make myself look more approachable. It did work surprisingly!

Finally hung out with the Cornies!! Now thinking about how our name came about, it's actually quite funny. Anyway, we ate at Astons, played pool at POMO and board games The Mind Cafe. I had a really good time and I miss them so much :(

Went out with Jo to catch a movie and shop around a bit.

Also headed out to JB to sign some papers for the new house and to eat the best wanton noodles ever!
