re/store II

Thought I wasn't going make it for the flea but my family's JB plans got cancelled (I don't know why we are always going to JB) because a van completely dented our car's boot.

I went to the flea to support the girls caused they asked me along, but I didn't sell anything. The flea was not what I expected. I expected hot, sweaty, messy, and poor sales. To my surprise, the venue was air-conditioned, it wasn't that messy, and sales were not bad!! I think our super low prices played a huge part.

Our booth that looked sad but probably made more sales than the elaborate booths!

Big Charlene and Small Charlene!

At the start, things were going for $5 to $10. Then slowly it became $3 and 2 for $5. This girl came and tried to buy a top for a buck and Elisha refused to sell it. Eli said $2 or nothing, but she kept insisting on $1??!! Then she stuffed the top under the pile of clothes and said she'll come back later. Towards the end, we practically sold everything for a $1. THEN SHE CAME BACK……and said "Wah lucky I never buy just now hehe." I wanted to punch her. Yeah she's smart, knowing prices will go down further but from the shopkeeper's point of view, such people are just pretty damn disgusting?!

Anyway, irritating girl aside, here are my loots:

Onyx bracelets, price censored cause it's a gift - my most expensive purchase of the day. I tried haggling but apparently it's made out of legit onyx beads so I couldn't have it any cheaper. Whatever, my love for it > price.

Wrap bracelet, $1 - bought this because it only costed a dollar and I love earth-esque accessories

Beat-up teal Baggu, $4 - I like my things to look worn-in, and I thought… for four dollars, there was no way I could regret this.

Cross-body bag, $5 - I keep calling this the hobo bag hahaha!! And I love it cause it's super casual!

On top of those, I have two pieces of clothing (for $3 each) which I bought from Tzehui earlier because I thought I wasn't going to the flea, and another two that Jez and Eli shoved me yesterday. Jez was forcing everybody to bring home something yesterday with excuses like "It compliments your skin tone" and "Just take I give you for free", just so she didn't have to bring anything home. It was pretty comical, all the crap she came up with.

I had tons of fun!!! I hope we do get more opportunities to hang out before school reopens and we all split up to our different classes… I will miss my flowers terribly :'(
