First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
My New Year's Eve was not exciting as yours, but exciting enough for me. I spent it with the coolest kids in town, just chillin' till the clock struck twelve.
Started the day with lunch together at Botak Jones, I had a Rosemary Lamb Chop cooked to medium well, with coleslaw and chips on the side. After lunch, we watched The Time Traveler's Wife together, which really confused me but I think I roughly got the idea of the show.
Then we played "the drinking game" which involves a lot of drinking and holding-in-your-pee. Sadly, no alcohol was involved because we are underaged *Goody Two-Shoes*. I once had to down two cups of water at one go, believe me, it sounds like nothing till you try it yourself. Thank God I didn't puke everything back out. The only upsides to this chaotic game is that 1) it helped my sore throat 2) to be honest, it's quite fun. After the game, I had to used the toilet thrice lol.
We had tze char for dinner and ice-cream for dessert. Both were good! Kalista kept bugging us to go night-swimming so we went, got caught for wearing shirts in the pool then got forced to strip :( We floated around for a while and sprayed pool water at each other with our mouths. Three cheers for the gross kids!
We played Pictionary before the countdown and I paired with Rosalind. You must have a very wild imagination to get what she's trying to draw! Kalista's drawing is equally as atrocious. But we all had a good laugh :)
The dumb countdown only lasted 20 seconds, but it was indeed heartwarming to know that my first few hours of 2012 was spent with such great people. That made my New Year's Day a whole lot more special.
